Come out and learn about, donate to, and drink for a good cause! Join us as we welcome Days End Farm Horse Rescue (DEFHR) to The Sandbox on Saturday, October 11th from 2-6 PM!

Founded in 1989, DEFHR is a nationally renowned, benchmark 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rehabilitating neglected horsed and educating the community about equine welfare through advocacy. Since its creation, DEFHR has evolved from a small nonprofit to a full-sale rescue and rehabilitation facility that shelters an average of 130 equines a year, all funneled through animal protection authorities across Maryland and surrounding states. DEFHR’s overall mission is to ensure the quality of care and treatment of horses through intervention, education, and outreach events! Learn more about the rescue here.
